My game will randomly minimize itself and I am unable to maximize the window again. I have to end task to close the game. Game keeps minimizing itself. Blah DTMM Oct 25. Windows 7 64 bit. 1.Is there a way to disable the 'program to auto minimize' aspect of Windows 7?

Windows 7 or any earlier version of Windows do not have the option to disable auto minimize the programs to the taskbar/system tray when it is interrupted by other programs. However, I would suggest you to check the settings in Skype to see if you can keep Skype on even while you’re playing games.

2.Is there a way to get IE to open in a NEW window every time?

a.Open Internet Explorer. Click on Tools and then on Internet Options.

b.Under the General Tab, click on Settings under Tabs

c.Under “Open links from other programs”, select New window.

d.Click on Apply.

e.Now, switch to Advanced tab.

I'm having a very annoying problem with Battlefield 3. My game will randomly minimize itself and I am unable to maximize the window again. I have to end task to close the game. My specs are:
gtx 570
i5 2500k
windows 7 64
8 gb ram
I have the latest updated drivers as well and it seems to occur completely randomly. I have never had this problem happen with any other games though. Could there be a program stealing focus away from this one game for some reason? How would I determine which one? This computer is only a few months old and I use it exclusively for gaming so I don't think spyware or a virus would be the issue.
